This heart-shaped table piece has been created by Miranda ter Voorde.

The OASIS® ECOBASE Open Heart is very easy to use, as it is not necessary to place a scale or dish under it. Cover the OASIS® completely with the all the flowers.

It is important to use the classic method of stacking the flowers. Start with the yellow rose Illios®. Stick the roses in different places of the Oasis. Next, mix in yellow gerberas Pasti Pennoni® and the yellow freesias Gold River® in the piece. For a greenery effect add some flowers of the variety lilies Armanda® and cover the open spaces of the Oasis with the yellow cut Chrysanthemum Celebrate.

After stacking all the different flowers in the heart shaped base, you can add some more greenery flavours with using Hedera leaves and eucalyptus. Their subtle green colours result in a beautiful colour combination.

You can even add feathers to the piece for a special effect. The feathers are perfectly suited to this time of the year. This almost completes the piece.

Use some Typha grass to finish it off. With the Typha grass you can make an open frame and lay it over the arrangement. Don’t cover the whole arrangement, but make a beautiful line with the Typha grass.
